LCR Realty, formerly Larry Conrath Realty, has been a top-selling agency in Athens for decades, and its agents have an outstanding reputation. “But a small agency does not have the economy of scale that e-Merge does,” says Don Linder, former LCR owner and now an e-Merge associate broker/agent. “We were looking for that next level of excellence to keep pace with this industry. We found that in e-Merge.”
Founded by top producing real estate innovators, e-Merge Real Estate brings a whole suite of resources that will give immediate, direct and ongoing benefit to buyers and sellers in Athens County and surrounding markets. LCR joined Ohio-based e-Merge Real Estate Dec. 14, 2021, with no pause in business. LCR’s exceptional agents will continue to serve clients without interruption, but with a new set of tools to improve the buyer and seller experience.
e-Merge Real Estate leadership team includes founder Jonathan “Ric” DeVore, president and broker/owner; Molly Morgan, vice president and broker/partner; Justin Gwinn, broker/partner; and Katie Clark, executive vice president of agent development. All are recognized as top producing Realtors® and leaders in the industry, each with more than 20 years of experience in real estate.
“Technology, marketing, transactions, financing, negotiations ...none of it looks like it did even five years ago, and it’s in constant transformation,” Devore says. “When I founded e-Merge Real Estate, I wanted to create a model for an agency that foresees the changes that we face every day in the fast-paced real-estate industry, and equip and train agents so they are always ahead of the curve.” e-Merge Real Estate provides buyers and sellers with advanced tools and technology, making navigating the complexities of buying and selling a home easier.
“It makes me especially happy to see a top agency in southeast Ohio join our e-Merge family,” says Athens native and Bobcat Molly Morgan, who’s had a pivotal role in the agency’s success. “I know and love Southeast Ohio. And I know e-Merge is a perfect—and proven—fit.“
“I am especially excited to tap into the extensive training and tools,” says Sally Linder, LCR’s former co-owner and now an e-Merge Realtor®.
e-Merge’s innovations have earned it five-star ratings from RealSatisfied and GlassDoor. It’s ranked among CBUS #1 Top Realty Companies and is one of the nation’s top-producing brokerage firms in RISMedia’s 2018 Power Broker Report, Devore says. “We bring all of that to southeast Ohio and more.”
Already the central-Ohio based company had begun developing a successful presence in the Athens County area, in addition to its formidable track record in the central part of the state and beyond. “We have glowing reports from customers in the area served by current e-Merge agents,” Devore says. “We can’t wait to see the results of an even bigger presence!” With the addition of LCR agents, the Athens branch of e-Merge grows to 17 agents and counting.

April 1, 2016, Athens, OH: Larry Conrath Realty is making an exciting change. Starting April 1, we are shortening our business name to LCR Realty, and updating our brand to be more professional and up to date.
It was time for a fresh face for the agency, as well as changes that make it easier and better for our clients We also like the fact that our initials, LCR, will represent our core services: Land, Commercial, and of course our long-time signature area of expertise—Residential. For a long time, people have referred to us as LCR, and now our name reflects that. They also look back on our history as Larry Conrath Realty.
We have fresh yard signs, which are everywhere throughout our region, so you will get an immediate opportunity to see the difference.
Our new Web site is fresh and easy to navigate. We're making it easier to search our listings, connect with us through our chat features or sign up to get daily updates from your favorite LCR Realty agent. And that is just the beginning. As we travel through this transition, we will be making improvements regularly, in response to what our clients are telling us matter most.
Also, people can get to our social media with a click or find out important news quickly. We will keep you up to date on happenings within our agency and with things that affect you as a buyer or seller.
Our web address and e-mails will be shorter—a small thing, but anytime you can deal with fewer keystrokes, you get where you’re going faster. Our new URL is www.LCRrealty.com. Check our agent sites for their new e-mail addresses. (You’ll still be able to reach them at their old addresses until everyone gets used to the new order.)
What stays the same?:
- Our more than four decades of experience at real estate, and our professional approach
- Our full time agents with stunning resumes
- Our iconic art deco building at 280 E. State St in Athens
- Our phone number – 740-592-3015, where you will always reach an agent during business hours
