Often, the toughest times set you up for the best of times. In my case, those times led me to this career-- and to having the kind of skills and experience to make me the best agent you could choose.
After high school I got married and had three babies. But when they were from 6 months to three 3 years old, I found myself raising them on my own. My first thought was I had to do better for them. That’s when I decided I had to go to college. I went to Hocking College and graduated with an Associate Degree and Certificate for Massage Therapy.
Then I began my career path, and over the following years amassed incredibly varied experience that I can put to work for you today. My jobs included things which set me up directly on the path to real estate, such as being a rental manager and mortgage originator. Others deepened my skills and business savvy, such as managing accounts payable and receivable. Ultimately, I ended up owning and managing a flooring store, Abbey Carpet and Tile (some of you reading this may have stood across the counter from me there). Nothing prepared me better for taking charge and getting the job done than business ownership, where I was responsible for, well, everything.
Those experiences encapsulate all the skills – whether it be the simple act of listening, the art of negotiating, research, or closing the deal – that give me the edge, which means I can give you the edge when you are buying or selling. My real estate education and affiliation with one of the oldest and arguably the best agencies -- LCR Realty --have honed my real estate expertise.
I truly love what I do, who I work with and the people I meet every day. I am happy to talk to each client – figure out exactly what they want and need, then work to make it happen. I don’t want to just be okay at my profession, I want to make each person I meet a lifelong customer and maybe even friend.
When I am not working, my joy is spending time with my family, which means everything to me. I met Michael, the love of my life, 15 years ago, and we raised (Ali, Kaiti, Kenzi, Kasie, Jenni, Korey and Andrew) 7 wonderful, fun, funny, kind, smart kids. At the end of a long, exciting, stressful day, all I want to do is go home to my husband, four puppies and two kitties. They are my heart!
